Biometric Access Control - B-Net 91 20 Fingerprint

The B-Net 91 20 Fingerprint is a sub-terminal for biometric access control and time recording. The biometric identification is done via the tried-and-tested biometrics module CBM with very high resolution. With this solution, no badges are necessary - each person uses the fingerprint for identification. The B-Net 91 20 FP is connected online to an access control unit (Bedanet 92 90 or B-Net 92 50). It perfectly fulfils all requirements of a simple and secure biometric data recording through fingerprints.

With each identification process, the biometrics terminal searches locally for a template using the biometrics data measured (a 1:n comparison). The corresponding personnel number is then used in the system. In practice, it has been shown that with approx. 3,000 individuals (6,000 finger templates) the response time is substantially less than a second.
